When you have faults, do not fear to abandon them

Anxiety that does not disappear even in the lead, in the end, only if Choi Won-tae survives will LG survive… The key is the changeup

The dream of becoming president is fading away, but anxiety still먹튀검증 remains in a corner.

The LG Twins’ steps this season are light. They have been in the lead since the first half of the year and have maintained their position steadily. The number of wins has been accumulated through a well-organized batting line and cohesion. In the fierce battle for the lead, the gap has widened and we are heading straight for the Korean Series.

Still, what is unsettling is the starting lineup. In order to dominate the Korean Series, the role of a starter who can dominate the short-term game is essential. However, it is true that there is a question mark over the competitiveness of the LG mound, which has no pitchers who have achieved double-digit multipliers other than Adam Plutko (11 wins) and Lim Chan-gyu (10 wins).

That’s why Choi Won-tae’s poor performance, who joined in the second half of the season, is disappointing. Choi Won-tae, who was acquired through a trade from Kiwoom Heroes, was recently expunged from the first team. He had an ERA of only 16.76 in 9⅔ innings in his previous three appearances. Choi Won-tae was brought in with the expectation that he would be the number one starter, but he rarely lives up to expectations.

LG desperately needs Choi Won-tae’s revival. They have an excellent foreign one-two punch in Plutko and Kelly, but if native starters cannot support them, difficulties are inevitable. If Choi Won-tae, who excels at inning digestion and game management, shows his true value, short-term mound management could become that much easier.

LG coach Yeom Kyeong-yeop analyzed Choi Won-tae, saying, “As his changeup, which is his strength, is not working well, he is also having trouble using his two-seam.” He expressed regret, saying, “It was ultimately the changeup that made Choi Won-tae what he is today.” At the same time, he said, “After re-adjustment, I am scheduled to start on the 24th (against Hanwha in Jamsil).”

Meanwhile, Ham Deok-ju, who was expunged from the first team on the 29th of last month due to elbow inflammation, will undergo a re-examination soon. Coach Yeom said, “If there are no abnormalities as a result of the examination, he will be called up soon. If not, (the return) may take a little longer.”
