‘Fantastic breathing’ Lim Seong-jae and Mitchell, PGA Zurich Classic 2R 1 stroke 2nd place

Lim Seong-jae took the lead for two days in a row at the PGA Tour Zurich Classic (total prize money of $8.6 million), which is played in a team of two.

Lim Seong-jae, who paired up with Keith Mitchell (USA), scored a 5 under par 67 in the second round of the tournament held at TPC Louisiana (par 72, 7,425 yards) in Avondale, Louisiana, USA on the 22nd (Korean time).

Lim Seong-jae and Mitchell, who had tied for 3rd place with a 10-under-par 62 the previous day, spurred the competition for the title by moving up to 2nd place (15-under 129).

It is only one stroke behind Wyndham Clark and Bo Housler (above USA), who took the lead with a 16-under par.

Lim Seong-jae and Mitchell, who were in perfect harmony in the first round, which each hit the ball and took the better score as the team’s score, were in perfect harmony in the second round, in which they hit one ball alternately.

Noh Seung-yeol, who started with Michael Kim, a Korean-American, fell to 11th place from a tie for third place the previous day as he only reduced one stroke that day.
