Justice Minister Han Dong-hoon responded to Rep. Joo-min Park’s먹튀검증claim that he insulted the sit-in at the Suwon District Prosecutor’s Office by Democratic Party lawmakers, saying, “It was the judicial system that was insulted by the Democratic Party.”
Minister Han made a stance today and asked Democratic Party lawmakers, including Congressman Park, “Are you not embarrassed and only feel insulted about blatantly obstructing the judiciary to overturn statements unfavorable to your party’s representative?”
Earlier, on the 24th, four people, including Park Beom-gye, chairman of the Prosecution Dictatorship and Political Suppression Committee of the Democratic Party, and Ju Cheol-hyeon, chairman of the Human Rights Committee, visited the Suwon District Prosecutor’s Office, which is investigating the suspicion of remittance to North Korea by the Ssangbangwool Group, and requested a meeting with the prosecutor.
Regarding this, a minister criticized, “The Democratic Party flocks to the prosecutor’s office to overturn statements unfavorable to their side, lies down and presses them to reverse their statements, but this is the worst judicial obstruction by abuse of power.”
Rep. Park Ju-min appeared on a radio broadcast and refuted that a minister’s remarks were not only true and exaggerated, but also insulting to members of the National Assembly.
