“I will appear with a knife” 7th ‘Sillim Station Murder Notice’ threatening message appeared

After the ‘Sillim-dong Don’t Ask Me knife’ incident, a series of먹튀검증 posts proclaiming “I’m going to kill” followed in the area around Sillim Station on the Seoul subway, and the 7th similar post was posted on the 2nd, and the police started tracking down the author.

According to the police, at around 11:10 pm on the 1st, a post titled ‘Everyone lives happily’ was posted on DC Inside’s domestic baseball gallery with the title, “Someone will appear with a knife in Sillim tomorrow night.” The police received a report at around 2:50 am on the 2nd and patrolled the Sillim Station area in Sillim-dong, Gwanak-gu, but could not find any criminal circumstances. This is the seventh time that the police have arrested or pursued the author of the ‘Sillim Station Murder Notice’ threatening post since the shooting incident occurred on the 21st of last month.

Meanwhile, the Cybercrime Investigation Unit of the Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency sent a 20-year-old man, Mr. Lee, to the prosecution, who was arrested on charges of posting on the Internet that he would kill a woman at Sillim Station.

According to the police, on the 24th of last month, Mr. Lee is accused (threatened) of posting a message saying, “I will kill 20 women at Sillim Station on the 26th,” and a screen capture of a weapon purchase online on the DC Inside Male Celebrity Gallery. During the police investigation, Mr. Lee said, “I felt anger when I saw posts related to the Sillim-dong incident in the DC Inside Gallery.” When the police checked with online shopping malls, it was found that the weapon was not actually purchased because it was canceled after ordering it.
