Lee Kyung-hoon won the championship in 2021 and successfully defended the title last year. Through this year’s competition, Lee Kyung-hoon will challenge for a third straight victory. There has never been a case in which a Korean player has won three consecutive victories in the same event in the PGA.

Lee Kyung-hoon, who is in good shape this season, participated in 16 competitions and entered the top 10 three times. In the CJ Cup held in October last year, he came third.

Lee Kyung-hoon is expected to compete with PGA Tour powerhouses such as Scotty Scheffler and Jordan Spieth for the championship.
